You can really use any type that you’d like. Russet potatoes are great but you can also use red potatoes, too! You might as well make the recipe a few times to see what flavors you prefer.

- Potatoes
- Mushroom soup
- Onion
- Grated cheddar
- Milk
- Salt
- Pepper
How To Make Ham Potato Casserole
Prepare all the ingredients.
Peel potatoes, ham, and onions and cut into cubes.
Add half of the cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix.
Add the soup concentrate to the milk. Mix.
Add potatoes with ham and onions in a heat-resistant mold.
Spread the mushroom sauce on top.
Add the remaining cheese. Bake in a preheated 180-degree oven for about 2 hours. Or cook in a slow cooker for about 8 hours.
