What To Serve With Meatballs And Potatoes

Most people love eating potatoes with their meals, but when it comes to making sides for meatballs many people give up because they think that there aren’t that many dishes to choose from.

However, we have decided to provide you with a few options to serve up with this delicious meatball potato casserole:

  • Gourmet Carrots – By tossing some cooked carrots with brown sugar, butter, and salt you can create a simple but sophisticated side dish that perfectly complements the meatball casserole.
  • Roasted vegetables – Another great option for a side dish are roasted vegetables. You can roast almost any kind of vegetable, but we recommend using carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts.
  • Side Salad – A side salad is always a great option, especially if you are looking for something healthy to balance out the casserole. You can use any type of salad greens that you like, but we recommend using arugula or spinach. You may also want to try a broccoli salad recipe.
  • Garlic Bread – Garlic bread is always a delicious option, and it goes great with this casserole. Simply slice up a loaf of French bread and top it with some softened butter and minced garlic.
