Use your Cricut to create these adorable and easy Spring crafts. They’re sure to brighten up your home decor for the season.

Can you believe it’s almost spring? The weather is so beautiful here that the flowers I was expecting in a month or more are starting to spring up. I couldn’t wait to start decorating for my favorite season so I turned on my Cricut, broke out a slew of materials, and starting crafting. I wanted to share the first three projects with you to help you get a jumpstart on your spring decorating.

DIY Spring Egg Banner

The first project I made was this adorable Spring egg banner. I used regular scrapbook paper for these but would recommend patterned cardstock instead. When I make these again I’ll use single colored cardstock for the back and patterned cardstock, or possibly scrapbook paper, for the cover.

This is very easy to make. You just need a six to eight-foot length of ribbon, pastel-colored pom poms, paper, and glue. Start by cutting the eggs with your Cricut (click here for my Design Space project). Weed the eggs that need it and glue them to the solid eggs. Glue the layered eggs to the ribbon, alternating with pom poms. I did a pattern of 3 pom poms, egg, 3 pom poms. Since my eggs were thin I glued a second set to the backside to make sure they hung how I wanted them. You’ll get a longer banner if you use cardstock as you’ll have double the eggs remaining.

DIY Spring Blocks

Dollar Tree sells large foam dice that are perfect for painting and making faux wood blocks. They come 2 to a package and I stocked up a while back. The only downside to these is they soak up paint, so you may have to do several coats. I recommend painting them the day before you plan to make these blocks so you don’t have to wait for the paint to dry.

All you really need to do for these is cut out the letters with your Cricut. If you don’t have a Cricut but still want to make these you can use stencils or sticker letters. I love the Cricut Adhesive Foil for these.

It adds just the right amount of shine for the season.

Use my Design Space project for the perfectly sized letters for Dollar Tree Foam Dice.

DIY Bunny Spring Decor

The last project I made was this adorable DIY Bunny Decor. I used Chipboard and let it cut while I was in the shower. I’m thrilled with how this came out and plan to make more with different colored ribbons.

For this project, you need one square of Chipboard, white paint, 4 popsicle sticks, and enough ribbon for two bows. You’ll also need a StrongGrip cutting mat (the purple one) and painter’s tape to secure the edges of the Chipboard to the mat. Use my 3D Bunny Decor Design Space project for the bunnies. It will take a while to cut so feel free to tackle another project while it goes.

Paint both sides of the bunnies with white paint, or any other color you prefer. Cut the popsicle sticks in half and use hot glue to stick four halves together. Repeat with the remaining halves. Paint the popsicle sticks and then glue them to the bunnies as seen above (I painted mine after they were glued). Tie a bow around the neck of each bunny and set it out to display your work.
