Orange Chicken Wings Exclusive Game Day Addition

Don't miss the recipe for these Orange Chicken Wings. Your tailgating get together won't be complete without them.

Is anyone else super excited that football is back in season? I swear those few months without it seem to drag on and on and there's absolutely nothing on TV. Okay, so that's an exaggeration but there's not much that compares to tailgating at a football game.

Between the game itself, catching up with friends, and whatever is cooking (like these delicious Orange Chicken Wings) the excitement doesn't end!

I know that not everyone has the time or budget to head out to the games so I thought I'd share an easy recipe so you can tailgate at home (or at the stadium). See, wings are pretty much synonymous with football in my book so I like to jazz them up just a tad all while keeping within a budget.

That's why I love shopping at Family Dollar; it's close to my house and they always have great deals.

Kind of bored with traditional hot wings I thought I'd cook up some orange chicken wings instead. You can throw in a little hot sauce or red pepper flakes if you want some heat, but these are delicious as they are. Instead of using the same-old-same OJ I chose to go a different route and picked up some Orange Fanta from Family Dollar.

While I was there I also grabbed some Coca-Cola™ and Wise Chips, everything I needed to keep these guys happy while we root for our favorite teams.

I used Alton Brown's method for cooking the wings, steaming them first then baking. This makes them so much better than just frying or baking them. They're super juicy and have the perfect amount of crispness, everything you want in a good wing.

I always love scoring a good deal. These orange glazed chicken wings sound delicious. I also love that you gave it an Asian flare with the hoisin!

These wings sound amazing. I love orange chicken but most of the recipes are very good but then again I didnt make breaded chicken. I will have to try this recipe. I bet the orange soda gives it just enough sweetness and orange flavor.
