Slow Cooker Pork & Beans – Real Flavor Real Fast
Between the regular daily to-do lists and the back to school season approaching, I know many of you are looking for shortcuts around dinner time. Who has time to spend hours in the kitchen when there’s so much to do? My favorite way to cut back on time spent in the kitchen is to dump everything in the slow cooker and go about my day. Of course, this is made easier when I don’t have to marinate or season so I turn to products that make mealtime a breeze. Products like Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork.

I’ve been using Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork as my secret ingredient for years. I’ve come up with many creative concoctions, but the one I want to share today is a true crowd-pleaser. My Slow Cooker Pork & Beans are not only packed with flavor (real flavor, real fast), but it’s a recipe that takes less than 30 minutes to prep which makes it perfect for any night of the week.
On my most recent trip to Safeway, I stopped by the case that has the Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork and picked up a few different flavors. I couldn’t decide between the Smithfield Marinated Slow Smoked Mesquite Flavor Pork Loin Filet or the Smithfield Marinated Applewood Bacon Pork Loin Filet, so I grabbed both. Either flavor is wonderful for this recipe, so be sure to experiment and see which your family enjoys most.
For this recipe, I’m using the Applewood Bacon Pork Loin Filet since the pieces of real bacon are such a great compliment to the dish, and come on, who could refuse anything made with bacon?! The best thing about this recipe is the pork is already full of flavor so you get the real flavor, real fast. I just added a few extra ingredients to make this a more traditional pork and beans recipe, the marinated pork did all of the work! If you’re a fan of pork and beans (and who isn’t?), you’re going to want to save this recipe because it’s sure to be a hit with your family.

Always a great dish to pass around at a family get together or pot luck. I’ll have to try it with some meat from Smithfield.
Looks so yummy! Going to try this recipe this weekend.
It occurs to me that as much as I like baked beans and pork and beans I’ve never tried to make my own. This looks easy enough that even I could do it.
Growing up in the south, pork and beans was always expected. This looks like a great recipe for those who enjoy the classic comfort food.

Yum, this looks so good. I haven’t tried the Smithfield marinated fresh pork. It is something that I should give a try especially if I can use my slow cooker. 🙂
This makes me smile. I made beef and beans yesterday on my slow cooker, it turned out delicious!
Trying your recipe out! I have had slow cooker pork and beans before and it was simply unbelievable how good they were. I have never had any like them since! I have been looking for this recipe! Thank you!
Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork is one of my favorite meats to cook with. I will have to give this recipe a try. I am always looking for new slow cooker recipes.
We buy the Smithfield pork loins a lot! They are delicious on the grill!
Super yum! I love hearty comfort food like this and using the slow cooker makes the process so easy.
I love baked beans but I never had them with chunks of pork loin. Sounds super yummy!
These look like a great option for a dinner on a cold night, after being out and about all day. Love that applewood smoked pork!
Oh wow, these look delicious. My family would totally love to eat this right up. It would go really well with some BBQ. Love that you can make them in the slow cooker.
You are speaking to my heart (and belly) with this post. I often make a pot of pinto beans or black-eyed peas with a smoked ham hock, but I’ve never done Navy beans nor have I used a Smithfield pork loin. You can bet I am definitely trying this recipe!
Looks delish! I am always looking for more non-chicken slow cooker meals! And with fall upon us, I think my family will really enjoy this one.
I absolutely love Smithfield products! This recipe would be perfect for when I’m away next month. Mom could make it easy and the kids will love it.
That recipe is awesome! We love to make pork and beans when we cook out, and this recipe looks like the perfect way to get all the flavor with less work.
This looks yummy. I always make this at home, but I’ve never tried cooking it in a slow cooker.
The pork looks delicious! Mixed with the beans make it sound even more heavenly!
