I just love how easy it is to keep Phoebe happy. Well, most of the time at least. Usually, all it takes is a few toys, some snuggles, and quality cat food and treats. We do have some off days where he does everything his little brain can think of to get outside. He’ll lay in wait, wiggle his butt, and dart to the door anytime it’s open, giving you the “what, I’m a cat” look when you catch him. If he wasn’t so darn cute I might get upset with him when he tries to escape. But, there are lots of neighborhood cats that he wants to socialize with, so I can’t blame him. I just go the extra mile to keep him in and keep him happy and ultimately safe.
Keeping him healthy means more than just keeping him inside though. It’s a full-time job filled with regular vet visits, careful monitoring, and reading labels.
