I think everyone knows how important it is to drink water, but how many of us drink the recommended 8 glasses a day? I know I don't usually and I blame it on my water quality. In fact, just about everywhere I've lived has had horrible water. When I lived in Chicago we often got notices warning us not to drink the water. And if I don't want to drink the water, I really don't want to give it to my pets to drink. Instead of buying case after case of bottled water, I found an easier way.
The PUR Ultimate Faucet Filtration System (provided for review purposes) is easy to install on nearly any faucet and offers fresh, filtered water on demand. There are no tools necessary and the unit comes with 2 adapters, in case it doesn't fit your faucet out of the box. It's even Bluetooth enabled, letting you track your water intake and monitor filter usage. And, as you can see, it has a sleek, attractive design making it an upgrade for most kitchen faucets.

My favorite thing about this, besides how easy it was to install, is that you don't have to waste the filter on things like washing dishes. When you want filtered water you just flip the lever, and flip it back when you're done. When the lever isn't flipped your faucet is usable as it was before you put the Ultimate Faucet Filtration System on. This really helps to prolong the life of the replaceable filter, which saves you money in the long run.
Speaking of the MineralClear Faucet Filter, you can expect it to last for 3 months, or 100 gallons. They are easily replaced, and replacements can be bought from the PUR website.
The only thing I'm not crazy about with the Ultimate faucet filtration system is the bulkiness it adds. This isn't a big deal unless you have a single chamber sink like me and use a basin to wash dishes. The size of the filter makes it difficult to rinse dishes without moving the faucet. Like I said, it's not really a big deal and it doesn't actually prevent you from doing anything you'd normally do.
The PUR Ultimate faucet filtration system is an easy and affordable way to up your water intake because you don't have that "my tap water is nasty" excuse anymore. It's also a great way to make sure your pets are drinking clean water, instead of ingesting those nasty particles and chemicals many water systems pump out. Head over to the PUR website now to learn more and to buy the system.
