Between the regular daily to-do lists and the back to school season approaching, I know many of you are looking for shortcuts around dinner time. Who has time to spend hours in the kitchen when there's so much to do? My favorite way to cut back on time spent in the kitchen is to dump everything in the slow cooker and go about my day. Of course, this is made easier when I don't have to marinate or season so I turn to products that make mealtime a breeze. Products like Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork.

I've been using Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork as my secret ingredient for years. I've come up with many creative concoctions, but the one I want to share today is a true crowd-pleaser. My Slow Cooker Pork & Beans are not only packed with flavor (real flavor, real fast), but it's a recipe that takes less than 30 minutes to prep which makes it perfect for any night of the week.
On my most recent trip to Safeway, I stopped by the case that has the Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork and picked up a few different flavors. I couldn't decide between the Smithfield Marinated Slow Smoked Mesquite Flavor Pork Loin Filet or the Smithfield Marinated Applewood Bacon Pork Loin Filet, so I grabbed both. Either flavor is wonderful for this recipe, so be sure to experiment and see which your family enjoys most.
For this recipe, I'm using the Applewood Bacon Pork Loin Filet since the pieces of real bacon are such a great compliment to the dish, and come on, who could refuse anything made with bacon?! The best thing about this recipe is the pork is already full of flavor so you get the real flavor, real fast. I just added a few extra ingredients to make this a more traditional pork and beans recipe, the marinated pork did all of the work! If you're a fan of pork and beans (and who isn't?), you're going to want to save this recipe because it's sure to be a hit with your family.
